Windsor tech company Picsume will host its first annual job fair featuring its new hiring platform from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday at the WFCU Centre’s Banquet Hall (8787 McHugh St., Windsor).

Picsume (picsume.ca) is a hiring platform that has eliminated the need for the resume through the creation of live dynamic work profiles containing only relevant and verified information.

“We have a dedicated onboarding team ready to bring these candidates to the 21st century of hiring,” said Picsume’s president and C.E.O said Jordan Goure.

“Our parsing tech will extract resume info into structured data to provide the foundation for their profile, unlocking thousands of job opportunities right here in Windsor-Essex.”

The technology extracts current job postings to the platform and pairs candidates directly with employers.

The Job Shoppe ‘Employer Lounge’ demonstrates first-hand how Picsume is changing the traditional job fair.

Job seekers will receive one-on-one coaching from industry leaders on topics such as Picsume building, interview skills, goal setting, understanding the labour market and more. Picsume encourages job seekers to bring a copy of their current resume.

The job fair will also feature:

• Thousands of local job opportunities.

• Direct candidate onboarding for job seekers.

• Live demonstrations and showcases of Picsume’s cutting-edge platform and its unique features designed to connect job seekers with employers seamlessly.

• A recording area dedicated to assisting candidates with introduction video production and headshots.

• Interactive games.
